Job Description

Job Title: Area Sales Manager

Reporting To: Regional Sales Manager

Business Unit: Retail Asset

Sub-Business Unit: Secured Business Loan

Key Responsibilities

Policies & Processes

  • Ensure compliance with policies, risk guidelines, and internal controls.
  • Train team members on policy requirements.
  • Coordinate with BUs for smooth transaction turnaround.

Business Development & Revenue

  • Achieve sales and cross-sell targets for Secured Business Loans.
  • Identify new business opportunities and manage profitability.
  • Monitor competitor strategies and implement countermeasures.

Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain client, DSA, and DST relationships.
  • Drive cross-selling initiatives across branches and channels.
  • Ensure quality service and portfolio growth.

People Management

  • Set and monitor performance goals.
  • Identify development needs and pursue learning.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices.

Operating Network

  • Collaborate with Risk, Legal, Product, and HR teams for compliance and business growth.

External Operating Network

  • Clients/Customers - For understanding financial needs and driving cross-sales initiatives
  • Dealers/DSAs/Vendors - For building relationships and seeking new business opportunities
