Role Description

We are looking for a dynamic, target-oriented Area Sales Manager – Greenhouse Ventilation & Ripening Solutions to drive business development and market expansion across the assigned territory. The candidate will be responsible for developing customer relationships, identifying new projects, promoting VAL-CO solutions, and achieving sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop new business opportunities and expand market presence.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers, growers, dealers, consultants, and project developers.
• Identify and follow up on greenhouse ventilation and ripening projects.
• Prepare quotations, cost calculations, and commercial proposals.
• Negotiate and close sales to achieve business targets.
• Monitor market trends, competition, and customer requirements.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure effective customer support and project execution.

Requirements

• Proven sales and business development experience in the greenhouse and ripening industry.
• Strong knowledge of greenhouse ventilation and ripening solutions is essential.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work independently and achieve sales targets.
• Proficiency in English is required; Kannada or Tamil language skills will be an added advantage.
• Willingness to travel approximately 50% within the assigned territory.
• A bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Agriculture, or a related field is preferred.
