Job Responsibilities :
n Area Sales Manager (ASM) for retail is responsible for overseeing and driving sales performance across geographic territory. The role involves setting and achieving sales targets, managing and motivating the local sales teams, developing and executing sales strategies, and maintaining strong relationships with key clients and partners. Key duties include analyzing sales data, managing inventory and store performance, ensuring brand consistency, and reporting on market trends to higher management.
Key responsibilities
Performance monitoring: Monitor store performance, key performance indicators (KPIs), and sales data to identify gaps and opportunities for growth.Client and stakeholder management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, channel partners, and internal stakeholders.Market analysis: Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify new business opportunities and adjust strategies accordingly.Operational management: Ensure efficient store operations, including inventory management, stock levels, and consistent brand quality across all locations in the area.Reporting: Create and present regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance analyses to senior management.
