Area Sales Manager – Chennai

Industry: Polycarbonate Sheets, Roofing Solutions, Building Materials

Location: Chennai, Tamil Nadu

Reporting To: Regional Sales Manager / Zonal Sales Manager

Job Summary

The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales and business development for polycarbonate sheets, roofing products, and related building materials across Chennai and surrounding territories. The role involves developing dealer networks, generating project sales, managing key accounts, and achieving assigned revenue targets through channel partners, architects, contractors, fabricators, and industrial customers. Key Responsibilities
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Appoint and develop dealers, distributors, and stockists.
  • Generate project business through architects, consultants, builders, contractors, and industrial customers.
  • Promote polycarbonate sheets, roofing sheets, skylight systems, and related accessories.
  • Conduct regular market visits to identify new business opportunities.
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing customers and key accounts.
  • Prepare quotations, negotiate prices, and close sales.
  • Coordinate with production, logistics, and finance teams for timely order execution.
  • Monitor competitor activities, pricing, and new product launches.
  • Ensure timely collection of outstanding payments.
  • Submit daily call reports, weekly sales plans, and monthly business reviews.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and technical presentations to customers.
  • Participate in exhibitions, dealer meets, and promotional activities.

Required Qualifications
