Role Overview:
We are looking for a dynamic Area Sales Manager to drive sales growth and expand our distributor network in the South region. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in the General Trade (GT) market and a proven track record in distributor management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead new distributor onboarding across the South region
- Drive sales growth and achieve regional targets
- Manage and strengthen distributor relationships
- Coordinate closely with distributors to ensure smooth operations
- Monitor market trends and identify growth opportunities
- Ensure effective execution of sales strategies in the GT market
Requirements:
- 3–5 years of experience in the General Trade (GT) market
- Experience in a similar field will be an added advantage
- Strong knowledge of distributor handling and market dynamics
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and drive results
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in FMCG / consumer goods industry
- Strong network in the South market
- Good English communication skills
- Hindi will be an added advantage
