Role Summary:
An experienced professional (8+ years) in Channel or Pharma OTC business is sought to lead and manage a sales team in a specific territory. The role is responsible for achieving sales targets, executing marketing strategies, managing distributors and semi-wholesalers, and ensuring team performance and compliance.
Key Requirements:
Education: Graduate
Experience:
8+ years in FMCG/Pharma/OTC, especially in channel management
35 years in team management
Product launch experience and POSM handling is a plus
Skills:
Analytical and planning capabilities (margins, pricing, etc.)
Local market knowledge
Strong communication, problem-solving, and coaching skills
Willingness to travel
Self-motivated and target-driven
Key Responsibilities:
Achieve monthly primary & secondary sales targets
Implement marketing campaigns and product detailing
Manage and support distributors, wholesalers, and retailers
Ensure field team performance, compliance, and coverage
Conduct team reviews, performance audits, and training
Forecast product demand and analyze sales data
Lead team hiring, motivation, coaching, and retention
Maintain market hygiene and ensure customer satisfaction
