Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Area Sales Manager role based in Hyderabad. The Area Sales Manager will oversee sales operations within the assigned region, develop and execute strategic sales plans, and ensure sales targets are met. Key responsibilities include managing a team of sales representatives, monitoring and analyzing market trends, building relationships with healthcare professionals, and increasing product visibility. The role also involves organizing training and mentoring for the sales force and ensuring compliance with pharmaceutical sales regulations and company policies.

Qualifications

  • Strong sales and business development skills, including market analysis and target achievement
  • Team management and leadership skills, including mentoring and training of sales staff
  • Excellent communication, relationship building, and negotiation skills
  • Knowledge of pharmaceutical products and experience in areas like cardiovascular, respiratory, or anti-diabetic therapy is advantageous
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Pharmaceuticals, or a related field
  • Proven track record in sales, preferably in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and reporting software is beneficial
  • Ability to adapt to a dynamic and competitive market
