Role Description This is a full-time remote role for an Area Sales Manager. The Area Sales Manager will oversee sales activities within an assigned territory, including planning and executing sales strategies for hybrid seed products. Responsibilities include managing and expanding the distributor and dealer network, driving order generation and collections, and monitoring sales performance against targets. The role involves regular virtual and field coordination with channel partners, farmers, and internal teams to promote products, organize demonstrations, and gather market feedback. The Area Sales Manager will also analyze competitor activities, prepare periodic sales reports, and collaborate with marketing and product teams to implement promotional plans and ensure customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • Strong skills in territory management, channel development, and relationship building with distributors, dealers, and farmers.
  • Ability to analyze sales data, prepare reports, and forecast demand to meet or exceed assigned targets.
  • Knowledge of agricultural practices and crop science concepts; prior field exposure in rural or semi-urban markets is an advantage.
  • Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness, Marketing, or a related field; an advanced degree is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel within the assigned area as required for market visits, partner meetings, and farmer engagements.
