Area Sales Manager - FMCG/Personal Care - 2+ Years - Telangana

Looking for an Area Sales Manager for Telangana who is target-driven, territory-focused, and capable of driving strong market expansion. The ideal candidate must have 12 years of experience as an Area Sales Manager and hold an MBA from a Tier 1 or Tier 2 institute (mandatory). Candidates from FMCG, Personal Care, Beauty, or Food & Beverage industries will be preferred, though high-performing professionals from other industries will also be considered. The role requires expertise in territory management, distributor/channel development, team handling, and achieving sales targets consistently.

  1. Sales Growth: Lead and drive B2B and B2C sales operations across the Telangana region to meet and exceed sales targets.
  2. Channel Partner Management: Develop, manage, and strengthen relationships with distributors, retailers, and partners to optimize business potential.
  3. Market Analysis: Conduct regular market visits to understand customer requirements, competitor activities, and new opportunities.
  4. Team Leadership: Guide, mentor, and monitor a team of sales representatives, ensuring sharp execution of sales strategies.
  5. Reporting & Insights: Compile and analyze sales data to create action plans and boost performance in underpenetrated markets.
  6. Promotional Strategy: Collaborate with marketing teams to plan, implement, and evaluate promotional campaigns effectively.

Requirements

  1. A Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related fields.
  2. Minimum 2 years of experience in B2B and B2C Sales within the FMCG/Personal Care industry.
  3. Strong understanding of the Telangana market landscape and consumer preferences.
  4. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  5. Proven ability to lead and inspire a team to achieve ambitious goals.
  6. Analytical mindset to gauge sales data and implement data driven strategies.
