Role & Responsibilities
- Own a defined geographic territory in India to achieve and exceed monthly/quarterly sales targets through direct field activity and channel partnerships.
- Develop and execute territory plans: prospecting, lead generation, route planning, and sales forecasting to drive consistent pipeline growth.
- Build and nurture relationships with channel partners, key accounts, institutions, and retail/distributor networks to expand market share.
- Negotiate commercial terms, close deals, and manage pricing/contract execution while protecting margin and customer satisfaction.
- Monitor competitor activity and local market trends; translate insights into actionable tactics and merchandising or promotional plans.
- Maintain accurate CRM records, deliver timely sales reports, and collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, operations, customer success) to improve conversion and retention.

Qualifications & Experience (summary)
- Proven track record of delivering results in on-ground territory or area sales roles, preferably within HRTech, EdTech, FMCG, or B2B services.
- Comfortable with extensive field travel and on-site customer engagement across assigned territory in India.
- Strong business acumen with ability to manage P&L levers at territory level and drive disciplined sales processes.
