Position: Area Sales Manager (primary standardized title: Area Sales Manager)
Location: India On-site
Role & Responsibilities
- Own sales targets for an assigned geographic territory: drive revenue growth by executing territory plans, achieving monthly/quarterly quotas and tracking KPIs.
- Develop and expand distribution and channel partnerships: identify, onboard and enable distributors, resellers and recruitment partners to scale coverage.
- Manage key accounts and new business: prospect enterprise and mid-market clients, present solutions, negotiate contracts and close deals to meet ARR targets.
- Execute field-sales activities: conduct regular customer visits, demos, workshops and market mapping to increase product adoption and retention.
- Maintain accurate pipeline and forecasts in CRM: update opportunities, provide weekly sales forecasts and collaborate with operations for smooth onboarding and delivery.
- Collaborate cross-functionally: work with marketing, customer success and product teams to localize offers, run promotion campaigns and resolve escalations quickly.

Qualifications & Experience
- Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales targets in field or territory roles (B2B or channel-focused).
- Experience working on ground with distributors, channel partners or retail networks in India.
- Comfortable with extensive travel and on-site customer engagement across assigned region.
