Job Summary
We are looking for a dynamic and result-driven Area Sales Manager to lead regional sales operations, drive business growth, and build strong customer relationships. The role involves managing a team, achieving sales targets, and ensuring effective execution of sales and marketing strategies.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
- Drive and achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for the assigned region
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Sales Executives for performance excellence
- Develop and implement sales strategies and business plans to maximize growth
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders (KOLs)
- Manage key accounts and ensure customer satisfaction and retention
- Conduct joint field visits and guide team members to improve performance
- Monitor sales performance, forecasts, and pipelines to ensure target achievement
- Execute marketing activities and promotional campaigns effectively
- Handle dealer management, including inventory, payments, and profitability
- Recruit, train, and develop high-performing sales talent
- Analyze market trends and provide actionable insights to marketing teams
- Ensure adherence to company policies, ethical practices, and reporting standards
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in sales (preferably in ophthalmology Sales)
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and relationship-building ability
- Proven track record in achieving sales targets
- Willingness to travel extensively
