Job Summary

We are looking for a dynamic and result-driven Area Sales Manager to lead regional sales operations, drive business growth, and build strong customer relationships. The role involves managing a team, achieving sales targets, and ensuring effective execution of sales and marketing strategies.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

  • Drive and achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for the assigned region
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Sales Executives for performance excellence
  • Develop and implement sales strategies and business plans to maximize growth
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders (KOLs)
  • Manage key accounts and ensure customer satisfaction and retention
  • Conduct joint field visits and guide team members to improve performance
  • Monitor sales performance, forecasts, and pipelines to ensure target achievement
  • Execute marketing activities and promotional campaigns effectively
  • Handle dealer management, including inventory, payments, and profitability
  • Recruit, train, and develop high-performing sales talent
  • Analyze market trends and provide actionable insights to marketing teams
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, ethical practices, and reporting standards

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in sales (preferably in ophthalmology Sales)
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building ability
  • Proven track record in achieving sales targets
  • Willingness to travel extensively
