Job Summary
The Area Sales Manager (ASM) will be responsible for driving sales growth and market expansion across the assigned Gujarat
territory. The role involves achieving primary and secondary sales targets, strengthening distributor and retailer networks, leading field
sales teams, and enhancing brand presence for Ariscent Lifesciences Pvt. Ltd.s Oral Care, Personal Care, and
Nutraceutical product portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
• Build, appoint, and manage support staff, stockists, and distributors
• Develop and execute regional sales strategies to achieve assigned sales targets
• Lead, coach, and evaluate the performance of City Managers and Distributor Sales Executives (DSEs)
• Expand and strengthen distributor and retailer networks across the territory
• Ensure product availability, visibility, and effective market coverage
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback
• Implement trade promotions, schemes, and marketing initiatives
• Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance reviews
• Ensure adherence to company sales policies and budget guidelines
Skills
• Strong knowledge of FMCG sales and distribution
• Proven ability to drive sales growth and market expansion
• Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills
• Analytical and result-oriented, with strong planning and reporting abilities
• Bachelor's degree in Business/Marketing (preferred) with FMCG sales experience
• Ability to work independently in a dynamic, fast-paced market Preferred Candidate Profile
• 5–10 years of experience in FMCG sales, preferably in Oral Care, Personal Care, or Nutraceuticals
• Strong exposure to distributor and channel management across Gujarat
• Experience in handling multi-city territories and leading field sales teams
• Proven track record of achieving primary and secondary sales targets
• Proficiency in sales reporting and market analyse.
