Responsibilities
The M&A Coordinator will be pivotal in facilitating all stages of the merger and acquisition lifecycle, ensuring smooth execution and maximum value creation for Adani's infrastructure ventures. The role involves extensive coordination, communication, and project management capabilities, embedded within Adani's values of integrity, innovation, and inclusiveness. Key responsibilities include:
- Strategic Coordination: Act as the primary liaison between internal business units, external advisors, legal teams, financial consultants, and regulatory bodies to drive M&A projects efficiently from initiation through closure.
- Due Diligence Management: Organize and manage comprehensive due diligence processes including collection, verification, and analysis of operational, financial, legal, and commercial data to support informed decision-making.
- Documentation and Compliance: Ensure all contractual documents, agreements, and filings are prepared accurately, compliant with legal standards and company policies, and submitted within prescribed timelines.
- Data Management and Reporting: Maintain an updated repository of all M&A-related data, preparing regular progress reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholders to monitor milestones and highlight risks or opportunities.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Facilitate effective communication and relationship management across cross-functional teams, including finance, legal, operations, and executive leadership, ensuring alignment of goals and transparency throughout the transaction lifecycle.
- Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Identify potential risks and issues during M&A activities, collaborating with risk management and compliance teams to develop mitigation strategies that align with Adani's risk policies and ethical standards.
- Post-Merger Integration Support: Assist in coordinating integration activities post-transaction, ensuring seamless operational transitions, cultural alignment, and realization of projected synergies.
- Market and Industry Analysis: Support the strategic assessment of target companies and market trends by gathering intelligence, benchmarking industry practices, and contributing insights to inform acquisition strategies.
- Continuous Improvement: Recommend process enhancements and implement best practices in M&A coordination to increase efficiency, reduce transaction cycles, and boost overall project outcomes.

Qualifications
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Law, or related fields is mandatory.
- Postgraduate degree or MBA in Finance, Strategy, or Corporate Law preferred.
Experience
Minimum 10+ years of experience in Mergers & Acquisitions or related roles within the Infrastructure industry.
