Popo Ventures is seeking a passionate and performance-driven Area Manager to oversee multiple gourmet restaurant outlets and deliver exceptional dining experiences. This role is responsible for driving business growth, maintaining premium brand standards, and leading high-performing teams across all locations.
The ideal candidate brings strong expertise in hospitality operations, a refined understanding of customer experience, and the ability to balance operational efficiency with luxury service excellence.
Business & Revenue Growth
Drive sales and profitability across all assigned gourmet outlets
Forecast revenue, set targets, and ensure achievement of business goals
Analyse performance metrics and implement strategies to maximize revenue per outlet
Identify opportunities for expansion, upselling, and premium service offerings
Guest Experience & Brand Excellence
Ensure delivery of a consistent, high-end guest experience aligned with Popo Ventures standards
Monitor guest feedback, online reviews, and satisfaction scores
Resolve escalations with a hospitality-first approach
Uphold brand aesthetics, ambiance, and service excellence across all outlets
Operations Management
Oversee end-to-end restaurant operations ensuring smooth daily functioning
Ensure strict adherence to SOPs, hygiene, and food safety standards
Maintain consistency in food quality, presentation, and service delivery
Coordinate closely with kitchen, service, and support teams
Marketing & Guest Engagement
Execute localised marketing strategies to increase footfall and repeat clientele
Collaborate with central marketing for campaigns, events, and promotions
Drive partnerships, events, and experiential dining initiatives
Leverage digital platforms and customer data to enhance engagement
Leadership & People Development
Lead, coach, and mentor Restaurant Managers and their teams
Drive hiring, training, and succession planning across outlets
Build a strong service culture focused on excellence and accountability
Conduct performance reviews and implement development programs
Inventory & Supply Chain
Oversee inventory planning, procurement cycles, and vendor relationships
Ensure quality sourcing aligned with gourmet standards
Minimize wastage and ensure efficient stock management
Maintain consistency in ingredient quality across all outlets
Risk, Compliance & Safety
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, licensing, and audits
Implement safety protocols for guests, staff, and assets
Handle incident reporting and crisis management effectively
Ensure secure cash handling and audit compliance
Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field
5–8+ years of experience in hospitality, preferably in premium or gourmet dining
Proven experience in multi-unit or cluster management
Strong track record in driving revenue growth and operational excellence
