Architectural Draughtsman

Experience Required: Minimum 3 - 5 years (preferably in Real Estate / Construction Industry)

Job Summary:

The Architectural Draughtsman will be responsible for preparing detailed architectural drawings, layouts, and working drawings based on design concepts and instructions from architects or engineers. The role requires a deep understanding of architectural standards, building codes, and coordination with structural, MEP, and site teams to ensure accuracy and feasibility of designs.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare detailed architectural drawings, presentation drawings, and working drawings using AutoCAD.

Develop plans, elevations, sections, and details as per project requirements.

Coordinate and incorporate inputs from structural, MEP, and interior design teams.

Ensure drawings comply with local building codes, regulations, and standards.

Maintain version control of drawings and manage revisions based on client or consultant feedback.

Assist in preparing municipal submission drawings and as-built drawings.

Work closely with site engineers to resolve design discrepancies or practical execution challenges.

Support architects in conceptual drawings, design development, and working documentation.

Ensure timely delivery of accurate drawings as per project schedules.

Skills & Competencies:

Proficiency in AutoCAD.

Strong technical drawing and detailing skills.

Knowledge of building materials, construction methods, and real estate project documentation.

Ability to interpret architectural and structural drawings accurately.

Good communication and coordination skills.

Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining drawing accuracy.

Qualification:

Diploma or Degree in Architecture / Civil Engineering or equivalent.

Senior Architect / Project Architect / Project Manager
