Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Design & Development

Design and develop ServiceNow solutions including applications, integrations, workflows, business rules, UI policies, client scripts, and automated processes.
Translate functional requirements into technical specifications and build solutions aligned with ServiceNow best practices.

Technical Leadership

Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior developers.
Review code for quality, standards adherence, and performance optimization.
Recommend and implement configuration vs. customization approaches to meet business needs efficiently.

Module Implementation & Enhancements

Lead development activities for new module implementations, upgrades, and major enhancements.
Build integrations between ServiceNow and external systems using IntegrationHub, REST/SOAP APIs, and MID Servers.

Testing & Deployment

Develop and execute unit tests; support QA and UAT cycles by resolving defects in a timely manner.
Participate in code promotions and deployments across environments ensuring minimal operational impact.

Documentation & Knowledge Sharing

Prepare and maintain technical design documents, configuration guides, and support documentation.
Share knowledge with team members and contribute to ServiceNow development standards.

Continuous Improvement & Support

Identify and implement opportunities for platform optimization and automation.
Provide advanced technical support for incidents, root cause analysis, and resolution of complex issues escalated by sustain teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
Minimum 8 years of ServiceNow development experience.
ServiceNow Certified System Administrator required.
ServiceNow Certified Application Developer or module-specific certifications (e.g., ITSM, ITOM) highly desirable.
