Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Architect role based in Bengaluru. The Architect will be responsible for conceptualizing and developing innovative interior design solutions that align with client aspirations and Lisno's design philosophy. The role focuses on client consultation, space planning, design documentation, and creative problem-solving throughout the design development phase.
Key Responsibilities
- Create innovative interior design concepts, layouts, and space plans
- Develop mood boards, material palettes, and design presentations
- Prepare detailed architectural drawings, 3D visualizations, and design documentation
- Select furniture, fixtures, finishes, and decorative elements
- Conduct site visits and client meetings to understand requirements and spatial constraints
- Present design concepts and iterate based on client feedback
- Guide clients through material selections, finishes, and design choices
- Prepare comprehensive design packages including floor plans, elevations, sections, and detail drawings
- Create specifications for furniture, fixtures, and finishes
- Develop BOQ (Bill of Quantities) and material estimates
- Coordinate with vendors for product sourcing and customization
- Build strong client relationships through clear communication and design excellence
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Architecture, Interior Design, or related field
- Strong proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, V-Ray, Photoshop, etc.)
- Excellent space planning and conceptual design skills
- Portfolio demonstrating residential interior design projects
- Strong sketching and visualization abilities
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to understand client needs and translate them into beautiful, functional designs
- Knowledge of materials, finishes, furniture, and lighting design
- Understanding of sustainable and accessible design practices is a plus
- Keen eye for aesthetics, details, and contemporary design trends
