Job Description

Sabarmati HSR Hub is India's first transit-oriented development project and the starting point of the Mumbai–Ahmedabad Bullet Train.

The development integrates the High Speed Rail (Bullet Train) station with a large-scale mixed-use urban ecosystem comprising retail, 5-Star Hotel, office, and public spaces.

Envisioned as a next-generation mobility and urban destination, the hub is being developed with a strong focus on connectivity, integrated infrastructure, and long-term urban value creation.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Architect Coordinator located in Ahmedabad. The Architect Coordinator will oversee architectural design processes, manage project timelines, and ensure seamless software and system integration. Responsibilities include coordinating with technical teams, stakeholders, and vendors, while maintaining focus on the technical and aesthetic objectives of the projects.

What your day looks like :

  • Review, and coordinate architectural drawings, site plans, and specifications across stages (concept to GFC), and when and if required do alterations using tools like AutoCAD/Revit, ensuring clarity, constructability, and alignment with design intent

  • Project Coordination: Act as the central point of contact between architects, consultants, engineers, contractors, PMC, and internal teams—ensuring seamless communication and alignment across all stakeholders

  • Interdisciplinary Integration: Identify and resolve clashes between architectural, structural, MEP, and other systems before they impact execution; ensure all packages integrate smoothly within the larger development

  • Compliance & Standards: Ensure all designs adhere to building codes, statutory regulations, and project-specific standards, especially within a multi-agency infrastructure environment

  • Construction Administration: Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, address design-related challenges, and ensure on-ground execution aligns with approved drawings and intent

  • Documentation & Control: Manage drawings, revisions, RFIs, submittals, and approvals with a strong focus on version control, traceability, and structured documentation systems

  • Schedule & Milestone Tracking: Track design and execution timelines, manage dependencies, and ensure timely delivery of drawings, approvals, and coordination inputs

  • Stakeholder Management: Drive coordination meetings, document key decisions, and ensure follow-through across multiple agencies and teams without delays

  • Problem Solving on Ground: Work closely with execution teams to resolve real-time issues, propose practical solutions, and maintain project momentum

  • Integrated Development Coordination: Support the seamless integration of multiple components - retail, hospitality, office, and other asset classes into a cohesive, execution-ready ecosystem

  • Reporting & Communication: Assist in preparing presentations, reports, and updates for internal leadership, consultants, and government stakeholders

  • Support leadership with high-quality reporting, presentations, and strategic inputs for reviews and decision-making forums

  • This is permanent role with the successful candidate working on other projects of the group in the future 

Skills Required

  • Bachelor's / Master's in Architecture from Tier 1 school with Project Management Degree/Advanced certification
  • 10–15 years of experience in architectural design, coordination, or large-scale project execution
  • Strong command over AutoCAD, Revit, and documentation workflows
  • Direct and impactful experience in implementing a 5-Star hotel
  • Deep understanding of multidisciplinary coordination (Architecture, Structure, MEP)
  • Experience working on large-scale, mixed-use, infrastructure, or TOD projects preferred
  • Strong stakeholder management and English verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage complexity, timelines, and multiple agencies simultaneously
  • High ownership, problem-solving mindset, and attention to detail

Skills/Attitude Desired

  • Strong interest in AI and new technology trends affecting your area of work
  • Education or interest in urban planning and specifically in transit-oriented development
  • Deep interest in learning and acquiring new skills

Location: Onsite in Ahmedabad

Salary: Rs. 18-22 L CTC. Higher for truly exceptional candidates
