You'll collaborate closely with filmmakers, technologists, interior designers, AV integrators, lighting designers, and new media artists, translating creative intent into buildable, safe, and technically robust spaces. The role is based in our Gurgaon office, with regular travel to project sites across India.

Key Responsibilities

  • Concept & Spatial Planning

* Develop spatial concepts, zoning, circulation, and visitor-flow strategies for immersive experiences (entry/exit logic, throughput, dwell time, accessibility).

* Translate narrative/creative briefs into architectural plans that support projection, sound, interactive elements, and crowd management.

* Create layout options and iterate quickly with creative and technical teams.

  • Technical Integration

* Coordinate early-stage integration for AV, projection, LED walls, acoustics, lighting, rigging, server/control rooms, power and HVAC loads, and cable pathways.

* Plan infrastructure for equipment access, maintenance, redundancy, and operational sustainability.

* Work with specialists on acoustic separation, light control, blackout detailing, and sound leakage mitigation.

  • Design Development & Documentation

* Produce drawings and documentation: plans, sections, reflected ceiling plans, details, BOQs, schedules, and coordination packs.

* Review shop drawings, material specs, mock-ups, and implementation details with vendors/contractors.

* Support approval sets and compliance coordination with local regulations and safety norms.

  • Project & Site Execution

* Conduct site surveys, measure-ups, and feasibility checks across India.

* Coordinate with contractors, fabricators, and vendors to ensure design intent and technical requirements are met.

* Attend site meetings, monitor progress, resolve clashes (architecture vs AV vs interiors), and support installation sequencing.

  • Collaboration & Communication

* Work in a highly collaborative environment alongside filmmakers and new-media teamsbalancing creative wow with budgets, timelines, and build constraints.

* Communicate clearly through diagrams, presentations, and on-site decision-making.

Required Qualifications

* Bachelor's or Master's in Architecture (B.Arch / M.Arch).

* Minimum 4 years of professional experience in architectural design and delivery (interiors/exhibitions/museums/retail/experience centres a plus).

* Strong planning skills for medium-to-large spaces (2,00050,000 sq. ft.) and comfort with iterative design.

* Solid understanding of construction methods, detailing, materials, and site coordination.

Preferred / Advantageous Skills

* Exposure or strong interest in technology-led spaces: museums, exhibitions, experiential retail, theme/immersive environments, studios, auditoriums.

* Familiarity with technical requirements for immersive environments: blackout strategies, acoustic design basics, rigging/structural coordination, equipment rooms, safety/egress planning.

* Experience coordinating with MEP, lighting, AV, and fabrication teams.

* Ability to think in show logic: scene sequencing, reveal moments, queue design, and visitor psychology.

Software Skills

* AutoCAD (required); Revit (preferred but not mandatory).

* SketchUp/Rhino (any one preferred) + Enscape/Lumion/Twinmotion (optional).

* Adobe suite (basic) and strong presentation/diagramming skills.

* Comfort collaborating with interior designers and technical teams on shared drawing sets.

What Success Looks Like

* You can convert creative intent into clear, buildable spatial designs that work for immersive content and technology.

* You anticipate technical constraints early (lighting spill, sound bleed, cable routing, maintenance access).

* You collaborate smoothly across disciplines and travel confidently to drive execution on-site.
