Responsibilities
- Manage and follow up on accounts receivable (AR) processes in the healthcare sector.
- Communicate with insurance companies and patients to resolve outstanding claims and payments.
- Review patient accounts and ensure accurate billing and coding information is submitted.
- Maintain accurate records of patient interactions and payment statuses.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to improve billing processes and increase collection rates.
Skills and Qualifications
- 1-3 years of experience in accounts receivable or billing in healthcare.
- Strong understanding of medical billing and coding regulations.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficiency in healthcare billing software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
