We have an exciting opportunity for an application scientist at Incotec, our Seed enhancement sector. The incumbent will lead water-based formulation development and have to conduct research for seed applications and support our seed enhancement research team in Asia.

Responsibilities
Water-based formulation development / maintenance / improvement / research for seed application.
Apply technical knowledge to develop new product/ improve the filmcoating liquid for seed application to fit to market demand.
Manage the team for quality control and make good planning quality management.
Generate the ideas to enhance the testing method and lab management, and work for it.
Maintain the Government compliances related to seeds and business and accreditation management viz. Department of Scientific and Industrial Research
(DSIR), National Accreditation Board of Laboratories (NABL) etc.;
Support for planning and running multiple projects and carrying out experiments in R&T
Support the design and carry out laboratory experiments. Review the results and seek answers to problems encountered through collection of data and investigation.
Provide a technical support service to sales and marketing as and when required, e.g., answering customer's technical enquiries, recommending products, promoting products, undertaking training sessions & providing desired solutions.
Expected to enhance knowledge of sustainable raw material for seed application /compatibility with biological / seed / seed technology/ laboratory management/ and market intelligence and safety management
Follow site safety requirements, ensure all laboratory activities are conducted in accordance with statutory, group and legislative requirements.
Education Qualification
Ph.D. M. Tech. Agricultural Sciences
Experience: 3- 5 years of experience in improving seed quality for Agriculture Industry
Desirables
He / She should have a thorough project planning, technical diagnostic and experimentation background.
He / She should also have good command on computer skills; power point presentations; Excel Sheet; Technical Reports; Mathematical Calculations; Recent
Technologies and Trends in market; meeting of minutes; etc.
He / She should also have good analytical, communication and interaction skills.
Ability to progress multiple projects simultaneously to successful conclusions underown initiative.
Ability to creatively generate commercially viable solutions to customer problems.
He / She should be a good team worker and good skill in communication
