Job Description

ROLE OVERVIEW

The Capital Accounts Manager will serve as the dedicated financial custodian for the Director's personal capital accounts. This is a high-trust, confidential, and senior individual contributor role. The candidate will be responsible for private accounting, advanced MIS reporting, fund flow management across capital markets, broker and vendor coordination, cash flow management, and transaction advisory — ensuring complete, accurate, and strategic oversight of the Director's capital ecosystem.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Private Accounting & Bookkeeping

✦ Maintain books of accounts, ledger entries, and reconciliations using Tally for the Director's personal capital portfolios. 4

✦ Record and document all capital inflows, outflows, and investment transactions accurately.

2. Advanced MIS & Director Reporting

✦ Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports with portfolio P&L and capital growth summaries.

✦ Build and maintain advanced Excel dashboards using Pivot Tables, Power Query, and financial models.

3. Capital Market Fund Flow Management

✦ Monitor and manage fund movements across equities, mutual funds, bonds, and derivatives.

✦ Coordinate with fund managers and institutions for timely fund deployment and redemption.

4. Broker & Vendor Communication

✦ Serve as the primary liaison with brokers, sub-brokers, and financial vendors on behalf of the Director.

✦ Handle correspondence, trade settlements, and maintain records of all broker agreements.

5. Cash Flow Management

✦ Prepare and monitor cash flow statements across all capital accounts and flag liquidity risks proactively.

✦ Track receivables, payables, and inter-account transfers with accuracy and timeliness.

6. Transaction Advisory

✦ Provide advisory inputs on investment transactions, capital deployment, and exit decisions.

✦ Assist in financial due diligence and coordinate with legal and tax advisors for transaction structuring. 

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

Educational Qualification

✦ Bachelor's or Master's degree in Commerce, Finance, or Accounting — B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) / CA Inter preferred.

Technical Skills (Mandatory)

✦ Advanced Microsoft Excel — Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Macros, Power Query, and Financial Modelling.

✦ Tally ERP / Tally Prime — Accounting, ledger management, reconciliation, and reporting.

✦ Working knowledge of capital markets, trading platforms, and demat account operations.

✦ Proficiency in preparing MIS reports, financial dashboards, and cash flow statements.

Experience

✦ Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in private accounting, capital market finance, family office, or wealth management.

✦ Prior experience managing confidential Director-level or HNI-level capital accounts will be given strong preference.

✦ Strong analytical and problem-solving ability with meticulous attention to detail.

✦ Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, Gujarati, and Hindi.

✦ Proactive, self-driven, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.

✦ Ability to manage multiple priorities calmly and effectively in a high-stakes environment.
