Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to user and client escalations, initiating functional or management-level escalation when necessary.
  • Manage service requests and incidents using ITSM tools.
  • Implement approved changes, perform testing, and ensure proper handover to the customer.
  • Handle incidents, problems, and service requests promptly to minimize the impact on client services.
  • Join and contribute to high-priority on-call support groups.
  • Identify and recommend opportunities for operational improvements and service enhancements.

Technical Experience

  • Strong knowledge of MySQL, DB2, Microsoft Azure Databases Infrastructure, PostgreSQL Administration, and MongoDB Administration.
  • Proficient in database backup and recovery strategies.
  • Skilled in optimizing data warehouses, data lakes, and other storage architectures.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle Database Servers.
  • Expertise in data policies, procedures, standards enforcement, and capacity planning.
