Summary:

As an Application Support Engineer, a typical day involves acting as a software detective by investigating and resolving issues across various components of essential business systems. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying problems, analyzing system behavior, and ensuring smooth operation of critical applications. The position demands continuous engagement with complex software environments to maintain system stability and support business continuity, often requiring collaboration with different teams to address challenges effectively and efficiently.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
• Responsible for team decisions.
• Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
• Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
• Lead efforts to troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues to minimize business disruption.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to implement improvements and optimize system performance.
• Mentor junior team members to enhance their problem-solving skills and technical knowledge.
  
  

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP FI S/4HANA Accounting.
• Strong analytical skills to diagnose and resolve software issues within financial modules.
• Experience in managing and supporting enterprise resource planning systems with a focus on financial processes.
• Ability to interpret system logs and error messages to identify root causes of application failures.
• Familiarity with integration points between SAP FI S/4HANA and other business applications.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in SAP FI S/4HANA Accounting.
• This position is based at our Pune office.
