As an Application Support Engineer, a typical day involves acting as a software detective by proactively identifying and resolving issues across various components of essential business systems. This role requires continuous monitoring and investigation to ensure system stability and performance. The engineer collaborates with different teams to understand system behaviors, troubleshoot complex problems, and maintain seamless operations that support critical business functions. The work environment is dynamic, requiring adaptability and a keen eye for detail to address challenges as they arise and contribute to the overall health of the technology infrastructure.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
• Responsible for team decisions.
• Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
• Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
• Lead efforts to improve system reliability and operational efficiency through proactive issue resolution.
• Mentor junior team members by sharing knowledge and guiding them through complex problem-solving scenarios.
• Coordinate cross-functional communication to ensure alignment on incident management and resolution strategies.
  
  

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Google Kubernetes Engine.
• Good To Have Skills: Experience with Google Cloud DevOps Services.
• Strong understanding of container orchestration and management within cloud environments.
• Experience in troubleshooting and resolving issues related to distributed systems and microservices.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools and techniques to ensure system health and performance.
• Ability to automate routine tasks and streamline support processes using scripting or relevant tools.

• The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in Google Kubernetes Engine.
• This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
• A 15 years full time education is required.
