Summary:

As an Application Support Engineer, a typical day involves acting as a software detective by investigating and resolving issues across various components of essential business systems. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying problems, analyzing system behavior, and ensuring smooth operation of critical applications. The position demands continuous monitoring, collaboration with different teams, and delivering timely solutions to maintain system reliability and performance in a dynamic work environment.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
  • Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
  • Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand system requirements and troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Document findings and solutions to enhance knowledge sharing and support processes.
  • Assist in the implementation of system updates and patches to improve functionality and security.
  • Support junior team members by providing guidance and sharing expertise.

Professional & Technical Skills:

  • Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Kronos.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to diagnose and resolve software issues effectively.
  • Experience with monitoring and maintaining enterprise-level applications to ensure high availability.
  • Ability to communicate technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with incident management and ticketing systems to track and prioritize support requests.
  • Capability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Additional Information:

  • The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Kronos.
  • This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
  • A 15 years full time education is required.
