Your Role And Responsibilities
As an Application Developer specializing in Enterprise Application Integration (EAI), you will create message flows using various ESB tools and technologies. You will be responsible for the entire software development lifecycle, from problem analysis to production support and configuration of the integration environment. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Integration Design and Development: Design and develop integration solutions using ESB tools and technologies such as IBM IIB, Software AG, and Mule. This includes creating message flows and ensuring seamless integration between different systems.
- API Development: Develop APIs to enable communication between different applications and systems, utilizing web services protocols such as SOAP and HTTP.
- Data Mapping: Map data between different systems and formats, ensuring accurate and efficient data exchange.
- Integration Testing: Test integration solutions to ensure they meet requirements and perform as expected.
- Performance Optimization: Optimize integration solutions for performance, identifying and resolving bottlenecks to ensure efficient data exchange.

Required Technical And Professional Expertise
- ESB Tools and Technologies: Exposure to ESB tools and technologies such as IBM IIB, Software AG, WebSphere DataPower, SI, Tibco, and Mule, with the ability to create message flows and integrate different systems.
- Web Services and Protocols: Experience working with web services, including SOAP and HTTP protocols, SSL/TLS encryption, and decryption, to enable secure and efficient communication between applications.
- Relational Databases: Exposure to one or more relational databases, such as IBM DB2 and Oracle, with hands-on experience in database operations and management.
- Software Development Lifecycle: Experience working in the entire software development lifecycle, including problem analysis, requirement analysis, high-level design, low-level design, development, testing, documentation, production support, and configuration of the integration environment.
- Integration Environment Configuration: Ability to configure the integration environment, ensuring seamless integration between different systems and applications.
Preferred Technical And Professional Experience
- Database Management Systems: Exposure to database management systems beyond IBM DB2 and Oracle, with hands-on experience in database operations and management.
- Additional ESB Tools: Familiarity with other ESB tools and technologies beyond IBM IIB, Software AG, WebSphere DataPower, SI, Tibco, and Mule.
- Advanced Web Services: Experience working with advanced web services protocols and security measures, including WS-Security and OAuth.
