Project Role: Application Designer

Project Role Description:

As an Application Designer in the Cloud Migration & Implementation team, you will assist in defining requirements and designing applications to meet business process and application needs. Your focus will be on ServiceNow IT Service Management (ITSM). You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design innovative solutions and contribute to enhancing IT service management processes for the successful implementation of ServiceNow.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Subject Matter Expert (SME): Expected to perform independently and develop expertise in ServiceNow ITSM.
  • Collaboration: Actively participate in team discussions and contribute to providing solutions for work-related challenges.
  • Business Requirements Gathering: Work with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements.
  • Application Design & Development: Design and develop applications using ServiceNow IT Service Management.
  • Technical Documentation: Create technical specifications and design documents for the applications.
  • Implementation & Configuration: Implement and configure ServiceNow modules to meet business process requirements.
  • Testing & Troubleshooting: Perform unit testing and support system integration testing (SIT). Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in the ServiceNow platform.
  • Mentorship: Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members.

Professional & Technical Skills:

  • Must-Have Skills:
  • Proficiency in ServiceNow IT Service Management.
  • Strong understanding of IT service management processes and best practices.
  • Experience in designing and implementing ServiceNow workflows, forms, and reports.
  • Knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS for ServiceNow customization.
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow modules such as Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, and Service Catalog.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues within the ServiceNow platform.
  • ITIL framework knowledge (Good to have).

Experience Required:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in ServiceNow IT Service Management.

Educational Qualification:

  • 15 years of full-time education (Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field such as Computer Science, IT, or Engineering).
