Application Consultant-Edge & Network Cloud

Required technical and professional expertise

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in a role involving network design, implementation, and administration, with at least 5 years specifically focused on Edge and/or Network Cloud technologies.
• Proven experience in application consulting, ideally within a large enterprise setting.
• Deep understanding of cloud computing principles, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS models.
• Extensive knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP/2, etc.), routing, switching, VPN, Firewalls, Load balancing, and SD-WAN
• Preferred technical and professional experience
• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Relevant industry certifications (e.g., Cisco Certified Network Associate, AWS Certified Solutions Architect).
• Familiarity with IBM's Edge and Network Cloud offerings
