App Dynamics SME (Artech)

• Design and implementation of APM solution using AppDynamics, SmartBear AlertSite and Azure Monitor (Application Insights)
• Planning & design of application performance monitoring solutions to support new business applications
• Support & recommend performance improvements to existing business applications
• Communication & education of the tool s capabilities within the business application teams
• Coordinate with the delivery teams to ensure consistent support and documentation
• Design processes and procedures to coordinate work across the involved teams
• Work with the vendors to understand new features and capabilities, and how these can be deployed within the environment
• Regular reviews of deployed monitoring with the business application teams to define improvement opportunities
• Support the investigations into new tools and services
• Support projects and internal initiatives
• Support the delivery of the key objectives as defined within the APM Roadmap
• Required SkillsGood interpersonal, communication, organizational and decision-making skills
• Expert knowledge of AppDynamics
• Strong knowledge of Application Performance Monitoring tools (including Application Insights/Azure Monitor)
• Strong understanding of programming in C#/.net and/or Java
• Scripting skills using JavaScript/PowerShell/Power Automate or similar platforms
• Good knowledge of databases development (MS SQL/any RDBMS) and optimization technics
• Good working knowledge in Operating Systems (MS Windows, Linux) and Networking (WAN, LAN, Firewall) and associated services like Active Directory, DNS, File & Print, TCP/IP, and Routing protocols
• English language skills - excellent written and verbal communication

Preferred Skills:

• ITIL Certification is preferred but not required
• AppDynamics Certification is preferred (AC IP/AC APA/AC AA)
• Education/Experience:An Advanced Degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience
• Over 8 years working within Information Technology
• Over 2 years work experience as a software developer/support technician with good knowledge on scripting/programming
• Over 3 years working with AppDynamics
