Android Developer
Job Description
Sarvang Infotech India Limited is looking for a
dedicated and experienced Android Developer with around
3 years of hands-on experience to join our growing development team. The candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing Android applications used by enterprise and corporate clients. This role requires strong technical skills, the ability to work independently in a remote setup, and coordination with internal teams for timely delivery of projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Android mobile applications
- Convert functional and technical requirements into high-quality Android solutions
- Integrate backend services using REST APIs
- Ensure performance, stability, and scalability of applications
- Identify and fix bugs, crashes, and performance issues
- Coordinate with backend developers, UI/UX designers, and QA team
- Follow coding standards, best practices, and documentation processes
- Manage application builds, releases, and updates on the Google Play Store
- Participate in code reviews and continuous improvement activities
- Support maintenance and enhancement of existing applications
Preferred / Good to Have
- Experience with Firebase services
- Knowledge of Jetpack components
- Experience with local data storage (SQLite / Room)
- Exposure to enterprise or large-scale applications
- Basic understanding of mobile app security practices

Job Requirement
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Android application development
- Strong knowledge of Java and/or Kotlin
- Hands-on experience with Android SDK
- Experience with Activities, Fragments, Services, and background tasks
- Knowledge of RESTful API integration
- Familiarity with MVVM / MVP architecture
- Experience using Git or similar version control tools
- Understanding of Android UI guidelines and Material Design
- Ability to work independently in a Work From Home environment
