Role Description

This is a 6-month contract, fully remote opportunity for an experienced Kotlin Multiplatform Mobile (KMM) Developer, with strong potential for conversion to a full-time role based on performance and business requirements.

The KMM Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining cross-platform mobile applications using Kotlin and KMM, enabling shared business logic across Android and iOS platforms. The role involves building scalable architecture, collaborating with cross-functional teams (product, design, QA, and backend), debugging and optimizing applications, and ensuring clean, maintainable, and high-performance code. The developer will actively participate in the end-to-end software development lifecycle, from requirement analysis through deployment and support.

Qualifications

• 58 years of hands-on experience in Kotlin development
• Minimum 6 months of practical experience working with Kotlin Multiplatform Mobile (KMM)
• Strong expertise in Android development and understanding of iOS integration within KMM architecture
• Experience building and maintaining cross-platform mobile applications
• Solid understanding of software development principles, architecture patterns (MVVM, Clean Architecture), and best coding practices
• Experience integrating APIs, third-party libraries, and handling offline-first or shared business logic modules
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote, distributed team environment
• Strong problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
• Familiarity with mobile performance optimization and debugging tools
• Awareness of industry trends and emerging technologies in cross-platform mobile development
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred
• Experience in healthcare or regulated industries is an added advantage
