Job Summary

We are looking for a data-driven Analyst to join our HR team. In this role, you will move beyond simple reporting to provide actionable insights that shape our hiring strategy. You will be the technical expert within the recruiting team, utilizing SQL and Advanced Excel to uncover trends & identify bottlenecks in our hiring process.

Key Responsibilities

Data Analysis & Insights

  • Analyze the end-to-end recruitment funnel to identify drop-off points and inefficiencies.
  • Track and evaluate core Talent Acquisition KPIs, including Time to Fill, Cost per Hire, Source of Hire, and Quality of Hire.


Technical Reporting & Dashboarding

  • Write SQL queries to extract raw hiring data directly from our data warehouse or HRIS/ATS systems.
  • Build and maintain automated dashboards (using Excel or visualization tools) to give recruiters and hiring managers real-time visibility into pipeline health.
  • Perform ad-hoc data requests, translating complex data sets into clear, narrative-driven presentations.

Data Integrity & Operations

  • Act as the guardian of data quality; regularly audit the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to ensure data accuracy and compliance.
  • Utilize Advanced Excel functions to clean, merge, and organize large datasets from multiple sources (e.g., ATS, HRIS, Survey tools).

Skill & Experience Needed

  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in HR Analytics role
  • Database Management (SQL): Strong hands-on experience with SQL is mandatory. You must be comfortable writing queries, performing joins, and aggregating data without relying solely on pre-built reports.
  • Advanced Excel proficiency is required. Complex Pivot Tables & Conditional formatting experience.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)

  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker).
  • Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (e.g., Greenhouse, Lever, Workday, iCIMS).
  • Understanding of basic statistical concepts (averages, standard deviations, correlations).
  • Experience in the HR/Recruiting domain.
