Job Description

  • Years of experience: Should have 2 - 4 years of relevant experience post qualification.
  • Nature of experience: Knowledge of manufacturing process: Sheet metal, Welding, Forging, Heat Treatment, Assembly Operations and their Process related controls.
  • Nature of Work: New product Development Inspection, testing & complete evaluation Vendor process stabilization for consistent quality for following parts.
  • Suspension Parts - Axle, Suspension Frame, Front Strut, Shocker, Suspension Arm, Coil Spring, Stabilizer Bar, Suspension Sheetmetal Parts
  • Line parts quality concern analysis & countermeasure implementation
  • Industry preference: Automobile Industry
  • Development (Inspection & Evaluation) of Quality parts
  • Line parts quality concern analysis & countermeasure implementation
  • New Initiative for Quality Part Development (defect free parts development)
  • Capability & skill development.
  • In depth knowledge of Suspension parts (Functioning, Key performance parameters)
  • Good knowledge of the Production Process for these parts (Including Quality controls)
  • Knowledge of PFMEA
  • Analysis and root cause identification of Quality issues of such parts.
  • Knowledge and practical application of Quality Control Tools like SPC, Six Sigma etc
  • Working Knowledge of Tools / Dies & various inspection aids (gauges /Jigs / Fixtures / Test Rigs, Etc).
  • Hands on experience on UG / CAD / SCAD.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Ability to work in lean, multi tasking environment.
  • Ability to handle the part & situation independently
