Role Description

Horeca Hire is seeking a talented and versatile Allrounder Chef for an on-site, full-time role in Bengaluru. The Allrounder Chef will be responsible for preparing a variety of dishes, managing kitchen operations, and upholding the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene. Daily responsibilities include planning and executing menus, managing inventory and ingredients, delegating tasks to kitchen staff, ensuring a clean and organized workspace, and maintaining compliance with food safety protocols. The role also involves working collaboratively with the kitchen team to deliver exceptional dining experiences for guests.

Qualifications

  • Strong culinary skills, North Indian, Basic Chinese and Tandoori Cuisine.
  • Knowledge of kitchen operations, inventory management, and efficient food production workflows
  • Experience in adhering to food safety standards and maintaining hygiene practices in the kitchen
  • Teamwork and leadership capabilities to support and collaborate with kitchen and service staff
  • Flexibility to adapt to diverse cuisines and handle multiple roles as required in the kitchen
  • Ability to handle high-pressure environments and meet time-sensitive customer demands
  • Formal culinary training or a degree in Culinary Arts is a plus
  • Proven experience working in professional kitchens, preferably within the hospitality sector
