Role & responsibilities
- Perform and certify maintenance tasks on aircraft, including troubleshooting, inspection, repair, and component replacement.
- Ensure compliance with DGCA CAR-66, company procedures, and OEM manuals.
- Conduct pre-flight and post-flight inspections as required.
- Coordinate with MCC, CAMO, and line maintenance teams to ensure aircraft serviceability.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities in accordance with DGCA requirements.
- Participate in redelivery, induction, and modification projects.
- Monitor and ensure timely closure of deferred defects (MEL/CDL).
- Train and guide technicians and junior engineers on maintenance practices.
- Support audits and ensure regulatory compliance for maintenance operations.
Preferred candidate profile
- Education: Full-time Graduate in Aeronautical / Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- License: Valid DGCA Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) License Category B1 (Airframe/Engine) or B2 (Avionics).
- Experience: Minimum 3–7 years of experience in aircraft maintenance within a DGCA-approved MRO or airline environment.
- Endorsements: Type rating(s) on Airbus / Boeing / ATR (preferred).
