Agronomist

This is a full-time on-site role for an Agronomist located in the Andhra Pradesh Capital Region. The Agronomist will be responsible for evaluating soil health, providing recommendations on plant nutrition, devising irrigation plans, conducting field research, and supporting farmers in adopting efficient agricultural practices. The role requires close collaboration with farmers and stakeholders to enhance productivity while promoting sustainable and cost-effective farming methods.

• Knowledge of Soil Science and the ability to assess soil health and recommend improvements
• Expertise in Agriculture and Plant Nutrition to ensure optimal crop growth and yield
• Experience in Irrigation systems and water management techniques in agricultural settings
• Research skills for conducting field studies, data collection, and analysis
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills to work effectively with farmers and stakeholders
• Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, Soil Science, or a related field
• Proficiency in local languages of the Andhra Pradesh region is an advantage
• Familiarity with sustainable agriculture practices and current industry developments is preferred
