About the Role
The Admissions Counsellor is part of SST's core admissions team - and is responsible for engaging with a wide range of students and parents who are actively exploring SST as one of their higher-education options. These families require clear information, consistent guidance, and a structured decision-support experience as they compare multiple engineering pathways.
As part of this role, you will guide prospective students from initial interest to registering for the NSET entrance test through clear communication and structured follow-ups. For candidates who clear our admissions process and receive an offer, you will conduct high-quality phone and video conversations, understand each family's academic and financial considerations, and help them evaluate why SST is the right fit as they decide on their next steps. You will guide applicants from the point of offer to their final decision through disciplined follow-ups, accurate information, and a supportive, solution-oriented approach. You will be trained to manage diverse parent personas, handle objections confidently, and maintain clarity and consistency in every interaction.
