Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Admissions Counselor based in our South Delhi Center. The Admissions Counselor will be responsible for guiding prospective students through the enrollment process, providing information about MAAC programs, and addressing inquiries. The role involves advising students and their families, supporting admissions events, and collaborating with teams to meet enrollment goals. This position requires excellent communication and organizational skills alongside a commitment to fostering positive relationships.

Academic Counsellor (Senior) Sales & Student Services

We are looking for an experienced, dynamic and result-orientedSenior Academic Counsellorwho can drive admissions, manage student relationships, and take ownership of institute operations. Anexperience of Animation & VFX Industrywill be an added advantage.

The ideal candidate should have strong sales and conversion skills, excellent communication abilities, flexible with timings and the maturity to handle both student engagement and administrative responsibilities efficiently.

Key Responsibilities, Student Counselling & Admissions

• Counsel prospective students and parents regarding various professional courses.
• Understand students career goals and recommend suitable programs.
• Convert enquiries into admissions through effective counselling and follow-ups.
• Present course value, career scope, and industry opportunities confidently.
• Achieve monthly and quarterly admission targets.
• Strong Tele counseling, Calling & Messaging skills

Lead Management & CRM

• Maintain and update enquiry data in CRM systems.
• Conduct timely follow-ups via calls, emails, and messages.
• Ensure proper documentation and admission processing.

Student Relationship & Satisfaction

• Interact regularly with enrolled students to ensure satisfaction.
• Identify opportunities for career & course upgrades or upskilling.
• Address student and parent concerns professionally and empathetically.

B2B & Institutional Coordination

• Coordinate with schools, colleges, consultants, and institutes for student referrals and admissions.
• Develop and maintain B2B relationships to generate quality leads.

Administrative & Operational Support

• Coordinate with admin and academic teams for smooth batch planning.
• Handle basic administrative responsibilities and ensure operational discipline.
• Take ownership of institute processes and contribute to overall growth.

Required Experience & Skills

• 3+ years of experience in academic counselling, admissions, or education sales.
• Strong sales and conversion track record.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Hindi.
• Strong negotiation and convincing skills.
• Good coordination and administrative abilities.
• Proficient in CRM systems and MS Office.
• Self-driven, target-oriented, and proactive mindset.
• Ability to multitask and take ownership.
• Experience in education, skill development, or media/animation industry will be an added advantage.
