Admissions Counselor

Location: Anand Niketan School, Maninagar Campus, Hathijan

Job Type: Full-Time

Experience Required: Minimum 13 years in counselling, sales, or customer service (school admissions preferred)

Reports To: School Director

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and approachable Admission Counsellor to be the face of our school for prospective parents and students. The ideal candidate will be responsible for effectively communicating the Anand Niketan Maninagar ethos, programs, and facilities, and guiding parents through the admission process with warmth, professionalism, and clarity.

Key Responsibilities:

Parent Interaction & Counselling

Handle all admission-related inquiries via walk-ins, calls, emails, and WhatsApp.

Provide in-depth counselling to parents regarding curriculum, extracurriculars, sports facilities, transport, food, etc.

Schedule and conduct school tours, ensuring a warm and informative experience.

Admission Process Management

Maintain updated records of inquiries, follow-ups, visits, and conversions using digital tools or CRM systems.

Assist with documentation, registration, and form submissions.

Coordinate with the accounts department and administration team for fee-related or onboarding queries.

Reporting & Conversion Tracking

Maintain daily, weekly, and monthly admission reports.

Track conversion rates from inquiry to admission and suggest improvements.

Analyze feedback from prospective parents and share insights with the leadership team.

Communication & Representation

Be the school's voice and first impression polite, presentable, and informative at all times.

Represent the school during events, carnivals, open houses, or exhibitions when needed.

Key Skills & Qualities:

Excellent communication in English, Hindi, and Gujarati.

Empathetic, friendly, and patient listener.

Confidence in handling face-to-face and telephonic conversations.

Organized and detail-oriented with strong follow-up skills.

Proficient in MS Office and/or CRM software.

Ability to work on Saturdays and during peak admission months.
