Role Overview
We are looking for a driven and student-focused Admissions Counsellor to manage end-to-end admissions conversations and drive conversions across the funnel.
This is an individual contributor role (no team handling), where you will own your pipeline, outcomes, and the quality of experience delivered to students and parents.
Key Responsibilities
1. End-to-End Admissions Counselling
- Manage student and parent interactions from first contact to enrollment
- Conduct need assessment and eligibility discussions
- Clearly explain programs, outcomes, timelines, and policies
- Guide applicants through application, offer, and enrollment stages
2. Funnel & Conversion Ownership
- Own conversion metrics across the funnel:
- Lead → Application
- Offer → Acceptance (O2A)
- Acceptance → Enrollment
- Proactively manage stalled cases, fence-sitters, and high-intent leads
- Ensure timely follow-ups aligned with admissions timelines
3. Student & Parent Experience
- Handle parent conversations with confidence and maturity
- Address queries related to ROI, outcomes, and career pathways
- Maintain a consultative, non-pushy approach
- Escalate complex cases when required
4. Process Discipline & CRM Management
- Maintain accurate and timely CRM updates
- Adhere to admissions policies, communication standards, and compliance norms
- Ensure proper documentation across all stages
5. Ethics & Ownership
- Uphold high ethical standards in admissions
- Take ownership of targets, outcomes, and continuous improvement
- Collaborate with internal teams to share best practices
Ideal Candidate Profile
- 2–4 years of experience in:
- Admissions Counselling
- Education Sales
- Inside Sales (high-ticket, consultative)
- Strong experience in parent-facing conversations (preferred)
- Experience working with structured funnels, targets, and CRM tools
