Job Description

Job Summary:

We are looking for a motivated and result-oriented Admission Counselor to join our team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate should have 1-2 years of experience in sales, preferably in the education sector, with exposure to selling IIT preparation courses. The candidate will be responsible for counseling students and parents, explaining course offerings, and converting leads into enrollments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Counsel prospective students and parents about IIT preparation programs and career opportunities.
  • Handle inbound and outbound leads through calls, WhatsApp, emails, and walk-ins.
  • Understand student requirements and recommend suitable courses.
  • Achieve monthly admission and revenue targets.
  • Maintain and update lead data in CRM systems.
  • Conduct follow-ups with interested prospects to close enrollments.
  • Coordinate with the academic and marketing teams for admission-related activities.
  • Participate in seminars, webinars, and school outreach programs when required.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
  • 12 years of experience in sales/admissions, preferably in EdTech or coaching institutes.
  • Experience in selling IIT/JEE preparation courses is highly preferred.
  • Excellent communication and convincing skills.
  • Strong counseling and relationship-building abilities.
  • Target-driven with a proactive approach to sales.
  • Basic knowledge of CRM tools and MS Office.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

  • Experience working with coaching institutes or EdTech companies focused on IIT/JEE preparation.
  • Ability to handle student and parent queries effectively.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
