Job Description

A fast-growing organisation operating in the Education / EdTech and Student Recruitment sector, focused on delivering end-to-end admissions services for higher education and professional learning programmes. Hiring for an on-site Admissions role based in India supporting campus and online intake cycles across domestic and international cohorts.

Primary title: Admissions Counselor

Role & Responsibilities

  • Manage inbound and outbound student inquiries to qualify leads and convert prospects through consultative counselling.
  • Conduct needs assessments, explain programme fit, curriculum, fees, and admission steps to prospective students and guardians.
  • Maintain and update applicant records in CRM; track pipeline stages and follow-up activities to meet weekly conversion targets.
  • Coordinate application submission, document verification, interview scheduling, and admissions follow-up with academic teams.
  • Handle objections professionally, provide clear next steps, and close enrollments while ensuring compliance with data privacy policies.
  • Collaborate with marketing and outreach teams to feedback lead quality, improve messaging, and support recruitment events and campus visits.

Qualifications
