Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Admission Counselor role based in Bengaluru. The Admission Counselor will guide prospective students and their families through the admissions process, including providing program information, explaining course structures, fees, and career outcomes, and responding promptly to inquiries via phone, email, and in-person consultations. The role involves conducting campus walkthroughs, participating in information sessions, and representing the institute at education fairs, school visits, and outreach events. The Admission Counselor will follow up with leads, maintain accurate records in the admissions database or CRM, and support the end-to-end enrollment process from initial inquiry to admission closure. The position also includes collaborating with academic and placement teams to provide accurate, up-to-date information and feedback that improves the student experience and supports institutional goals.
Qualifications
  • Strong Communication and Interpersonal Communication skills to engage confidently with students, parents, and stakeholders.
  • Customer Service and Sales abilities to handle inquiries professionally, build trust, and convert leads into successful admissions.
  • Understanding of Education processes, training programs, or academic counseling, preferably within vocational, aviation, or hospitality domains.
  • Ability to work with basic CRM/admissions software, maintain accurate records, and manage multiple inquiries efficiently.
  • Bachelor's degree in any discipline; qualifications in education, counseling, business, or hospitality are an advantage.
  • Previous experience in admissions, counseling, inside sales, or student-facing roles is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to meet targets and timelines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfort working with diverse backgrounds and a commitment to providing inclusive, ethical guidance to all applicants.
