Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and empathetic Admission Counsellor to join our admissions team. The selected candidate will guide prospective students throughout the admissions process, offering information, support, and encouragement to help them make informed decisions about their academic futures. This role requires excellent communication skills, a passion for student success, and a strong commitment to expanding access to higher education.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for prospective students, providing detailed information on programs, admission requirements, and financial aid options.
  • Conduct outbound calls and follow-ups with prospective leads, ensuring achievement of assigned calling targets.
  • Build and maintain relationships with students and families through personalized communication and engagement.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of recruitment and BTL activities, including college fairs, open houses, and campus tours (in and outside Hyderabad).
  • Coordinate with academic departments and faculty to facilitate student engagement and retention initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate and organized records of applicant data, inquiries, and admissions statistics.
  • Collaborate with internal teams such as financial aid and student services to ensure a seamless enrolment experience.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
  • Prior experience in admissions, counselling, or student services preferred.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with student information systems.
  • Understanding of admissions policies, procedures, and best practices.
