Job Purpose
Ensure smooth day-to-day school operations by managing administration, facilities, transport, security, and vendor coordination.
Key Responsibilities
Manage overall administrative operations and supervise office staff
Maintain records (admissions, attendance, staff, facilities)
Oversee infrastructure, maintenance, housekeeping, and inventory
Handle transport operations, safety, and security systems (CCTV, guards)
Manage vendors, procurement, and cost-effective purchasing
Coordinate school events and inter-department communication
Ensure compliance with regulations and maintain required documentation
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Administration/Management or equivalent
35 years of relevant experience
Good communication, organizational, and MS Office skills

About Company: Akshaya Chaitanya is a not-for-profit social enterprise by the HKM charitable foundation to eradicate hunger from Mumbai. We have partnered with the Medical Education and Drug Department (MEDD) of the Government of Maharashtra and the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) to provide relief to the families of patients by serving them meals at lunch. Additionally, we are running a feeding program for children in slums and municipal schools. We aim to ensure that we make one lac individuals food-secure by 2025 to help them explore opportunities beyond solving hunger.
