Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Technical Operations
  • Supervise day-to-day maintenance of electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
  • Ensure all equipment operates efficiently and safely.
  • Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance.
  • Coordinate breakdown maintenance and emergency repairs.
  • Vendor & Contractor Management
  • Coordinate with AMC (Annual Maintenance Contract) vendors.
  • Monitor contractor performance and ensure service quality.
  • Verify invoices and service reports.
  • Compliance & Safety
  • Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and safety standards.
  • Maintain documentation related to fire safety, electrical inspections, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct safety drills and risk assessments.
  • Energy & Cost Management
  • Monitor utility consumption (electricity, water, diesel, etc.).
  • Identify energy-saving opportunities.
  • Assist in budget planning and cost control.
  • Documentation & Reporting
  • Maintain maintenance logs and equipment history.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly technical reports.
  • Update asset registers and service schedules.
  • Client & Stakeholder Coordination
  • Address client complaints related to technical issues.
  • Coordinate with housekeeping and security teams.
  • Support audits and inspections.

Required Qualifications

  • Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in facility management or building maintenance.

Key Skills

  • Knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire systems.
  • Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Vendor management and coordination.
  • Understanding of safety regulations.
  • Basic computer skills (MS Office, CMMS systems).

Work Environment

  • Commercial buildings, IT parks, hospitals, malls, residential complexes, or industrial facilities.
  • May require shift work and emergency call-outs.
