Accounts Officer

Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Officer to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing daily accounting tasks, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and maintaining compliance with accounting standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations including bookkeeping, invoicing, and financial reporting.
• Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and reports.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting.
• Conduct regular audits and reconciliations of accounts.
• Support the month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve accounting discrepancies.
• Provide support during external audits and liaise with auditors.

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2-7 years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, SAP).
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and regulations.
• Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
